The Nothing Phone 2a Plus has been launched in India on Wednesday, introducing several upgrades over its predecessor, the Nothing Phone 2a. The new handset features the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G SoC and boasts a dual rear camera setup with two 50-megapixel sensors, alongside a 50-megapixel front camera. Sporting a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, the phone retains Nothing’s signature Glyph Interface. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and has an IP54-rated build.

The Nothing Phone 2a Plus is priced at Rs. 27,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the top-end version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs. 29,999. Available in Black and Grey, the phone will go on sale through Flipkart starting August 7.

Running on Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.6, the dual-SIM (nano) Nothing Phone 2a Plus features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The screen supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, 1,300 nits peak brightness, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by an octa-core 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G SoC, paired with Mali-G610 MC4 GPU and up to 12GB of RAM.
The phone’s camera setup includes a primary 50-megapixel Samsung GN9 sensor with OIS and EIS, and a secondary 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor with a 114-degree field of view. The front camera is a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor, an upgrade from the 32-megapixel front camera on the Nothing Phone 2a.
With up to 256GB of internal storage, the Nothing Phone 2a Plus offers various connectivity options including 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, and an IP54-rated dust and water-resistant build. The 5,000mAh battery supports 50W fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging, with a claimed full charge time of 56 minutes. The phone measures 161.7×76.3×8.5mm and weighs 190 grams.
The device continues to feature Nothing’s Glyph Interface, which lights up during calls and notifications, maintaining the brand’s unique design language.
